McKinney Roughs Nature Park
The Lower Colorado River Authority is a non-profit public utilities service that provides electricity to Texans and manages water from the Colorado River. LCRA manages the lower Colorado River, a 600 mile stretch of river that flows from San Saba to Matagorda. LCRA also manages the highland lakes that the Colorado River creates. LCRA provides more than 40 parks located along the Colorado River and highland lakes. LCRA provides hundreds of recreational experiences within its parks for all visitors.

Job Description
Job title: Recreation Specialist
Employer: Lower Colorado River Authority
Minimum qualifications: Kayaking experience, rock climbing and belaying experience, water rescue experience, first aid training, CPR certified, able to lift 50+lbs, interpersonal skills, high school diploma/GED, driver’s license, clean driving record, able to work hours other than 9-5, able to work weekends/holidays.
Description: You will work in small teams to provide programs ranging from kayaking and rafting to rock climbing and team building. You will be expected to provide a fun and safe experience for customers. You will also be required to assist and provide educational programs.
